About the event

The red tulip is the official worldwide symbol for Parkinson’s disease. They are a symbol of hope, renewal and strength, qualities that resonate deeply with the Parkinson's community.

Tulips bloom in the spring, aligning beautifully with Parkinson's Awareness Month in April. In celebration, we want to see your vibrant tulips! Whether you've planted them yourself or store bought, your flowers are a meaningful way to bring awareness about Parkinson's disease in the Ozarks.

Throughout the month of April, here's what to do:

  1. Take a photo of your tulips.

  2. Follow us on Facebook and look for our "Show Us Your Tulips!" post beginning in April.

  3. Post the photo in the comments or send it to us via Facebook messenger.
