Parkinson's Clinic of the Ozarks
The Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks is pleased to be affiliated with the Parkinson’s Clinic of the Ozarks. The Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks had the vision to start the clinic and has worked with key members of Cox Health Systems and the Ferrell-Duncan Clinic to make this dream a reality.
The Parkinson’s Clinic of the Ozarks is a half-day, multi-disciplinary assessment clinic for PD patients. During the clinic, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, a registered nurse, a social services worker and a neurologist evaluate each patient. By addressing the issues of the whole person, the clinic staff is able to recommend services which are designed to keep people with Parkinson’s as independent as possible. The clinic is available to those who are newly diagnosed, those who need to confirm a diagnosis and those who are having problems managing PD.
