This month millions of people around the world will recognize April as Parkinson's Awareness Month. The Parkinson's Group of the Ozarks, along with residents of Southwest Missouri, is working hard to make their contribution on a local level. The Parkinson's Group of the Ozarks Board of Directors will host an Open House on April 21st from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at St. John's Hospital in the Catherine McAuley Conference Center. There will be entertainment by the Tremble Clefs, refreshments will be served, resources and information about Parkinson's disease will be made available.
The Tremble Clefs, under the direction of Harry Beckett, are a group of dedicated people with Parkinson's disease, who come together for therapy, fellowship and a love of music. This group has been together for several years and enjoys giving performances for the public.
